The Acropolis, Greece
A must visit
I visited Athen in November, the weather was great and even a little hot, make sure to take with you a hat and sunscreen for this day, as it is hotter on the top with not much shade.

I highly recommend to buy the ticket in advance:
1- You might not have them when you get there on the spot
2- The line to get it is very long

It's better to go there first thing in the morning as it is very crowded already and it is hard to move and to see what you want (and of course to take pictures)

The Acropolis, a hilltop citadel in Athens is one of the world's most iconic ancient landmarks.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site has stood for millennia, a testament to the ingenuity and artistry of ancient Greek civilization.

A little Brief-
The Acropolis has been a place of religious and political significance since the 5th century BC.
It was the most famous structure built, including the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike.
These buildings were dedicated to the goddess Athena, the patron of Athens.

The Parthenon, the most recognizable structure on the Acropolis, is a magnificent temple dedicated to the goddess Athena Parthenos.
It was built between 447 and 432 BC and is considered one of the greatest achievements of classical architecture.
The Parthenon is famous for its harmonious proportions, intricate sculptures, and Doric columns.
